I am a registered, fully qualified counsellor with ACA (Australian Counselling Association). I deeply care about my clients and their well-being. I meet clients where they are on their unique journey and use a person-centered approach.

I work with adults, children and adolescents to develop meaningful ways to live life well. My hope is to support deeper connections with ourselves, others and the world around us.

My holistic counselling approach integrates Process-oriented psychology, Somatic Therapy, Attachment Theory, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and draws on my yoga background, all grounded in a trauma-informed framework.

My Background

From a young age, I knew I wanted to guide and support people. I became a Primary School teacher in 2002. After the birth of our first child, I was drawn to the transformative power of yoga and meditation, which changed my life. While working as a primary school teacher, I began teaching yoga to children and adults through Yoga With Skye. Over the past 16 years, I’ve shared this practice with two of my best friends and, in 2018, co-founded 3 Bush Seeds, bringing yoga and wellness workshops to rural communities.

My passion for supporting others led me to study Health Coaching at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and more recently my love for helping others led me to study a Master of Counselling.

I integrate mindfulness and breathing techniques into my counselling work (where appropriate), especially for clients navigating anxiety, stress, or sleeping difficulties. I see every client as a whole person—mind, body, and spirit—believing in the deep connection between these elements. I am passionate about helping people accept all parts of themselves and feel greater connection and joy in all areas of their lives.

My counselling practice is shaped by four decades of life experience, including raising three teenagers and a 20-year partnership with my husband.
